It's hard to find a yaoi movie, much less drama, that have some sort of a plot. That's why I am so happy to have come across this drama!

Life is Beautiful (2010)

Cast: Song Chang(Tae Sub), Lee Sang Woo(Kyung Soo)
Episodes: 63(or was it 62?? Uh, bad memory)

Set in Jeju Island in Korea, this drama revolves around the romance between Tae Sub, a doctor, and Kyung Soo, a photographer. While Tae Sub have accepted his own homosexuality, he struggles to reveal that side of him to his family who increasingly pressures him to get married. Kyung Soo, on the other hand, had gone through it all - marriage, having a kid then divorce when his sexual preference was discovered but things are no easier as his mother insists that he returns to his 'normal life' and play the 'perfect husband and father'. The stigma of homosexuality in a conservative society like Korea's tests the strength of their love for each other and their determination to be together.

Yaoi content: certainly yaoi but quite mild stuff, suitable for family viewing
Good points: good acting for most parts, touches some difficult but very real issues, eye candy Kyung Soo, light hearted parts that made me smile and laugh
Bad points: not really bad points but just some bits I don't understand...like the 'falling down'(you'll get what I mean if you watch it), the odd drama time length(uh, 10 minute episodes then 40 minute episodesO__o)

Overall: whether you're a yaoi fan or not, I would certainly recommend this drama~

Where to watch it: I watched the whole series with English subtitles on Dailymotion, kindly uploaded by caprenne: link to episode 1-2
