Not All Expired Film Is Good Film ...

... but most seems to be ...

The owner of the shop where I develop and scan film keeps giving me expired rolls of film with which he obviously cannot do anything, especially since those are expired for at least 5 years. Tura, which is supposedly rebranded Agfa, seemed quite ok, now I just finished Fuji`s 800 from 2005. Another crazy experiment was making an expired slide film into a redscale one. Guess then the efke 50 which expired in january of this year is quite mundane compared to this.

The first photo is a Tura one, which I rated at 250 iso :

Now it`s Fuji. I think I should have rated it at 400 iso, not 500.

It is visible in this shot :

This second one is filtered and overall I am pleased with the result :

Now I take a digression to compliment our host Jelena, she was phenomenal and she`s a great cook.

Last one with this expired Fuji, shot outdoors, the result is very acceptable :

Now we come to the real weird results, I find them very likeable, some have the real cross process feel :

and the craziest of them all ... like it`s more than 50 years old ...

Last but not least is the wonderful efke 50 iso film, one roll I just had to buy today again ...
