Round #2 Awards
Thanks to everyone who participated! We've got banners for the winners and runner-up, again thanks to the wonderful hiddeneloise.
After another initial tie, the winner for Best Use of a Challenge is celtic_flicka for her fic, The Defendant, which used the Logan character challenge. Great job!
fleurlb was runner-up for that award, but she took first place for Best Fic, using the same character challenge. No Comment is her first VM fic, and I think I speak for everyone when I say we hope she writes lots more.
Also big congratulations to onceuponapillow for her fic, Fresh Start. She used the word table challenge for a great Logan and Mac friendship story that also incorporated Charlie, and her work took runner-up for Best Fic.

I know quite a few members said that it was really difficult to vote for just one in each category this time because there were so many great fics, so do you think it's time we start adding more award categories? Thoughts and suggestions? A lot of it will depend on the turnout. Remember that Round #3 is currently open. I'm hoping we're just off to another slow start but we'll get more submissions soon.
One final note: I've been trying to listen to any concerns members have, so I've created a sister community, vmfic_help. This is a place where anyone can come with questions about their work, at any stage. I hope that other VM fans will participate by helping out, whether it's by clarifying a confusing plotline on the show that someone needs right for their story, or answering some specific questions about grammar or punctuation. Although I created this community with Game On in mind, everyone is welcome to join even if they don't participate in any challenges here.
There's an introduction post up to hopefully explain things a little more, and I already tried to answer one question someone approached me with about the preseries timeline (in the spirit of the upcoming Blast to the Past theme challenge). So check it out and join up if you think you might ever need a little aid or if you can offer help to others.
