Now there's something you don't see every day!

It was inevitable that some day Robert Conrad's skintight Jim West pants would split - and when they did, it was in spectacular fashion. Whether budget reasons or who knows, this fight scene aired as is. And as is ... well, you can see for yourself.

Good heavens. It's all there, isn't it? What is it they say about good things coming in white small packages? ;D

It's even more hilarious in motion. It's quite a long fight and he's just hanging out there...

It's from The Night Of The Underground Terror - whose villain is Nehemiah Persoff AKA Valandros from Master's Touch. It's amazing how many guest stars MFU shared with WWW (as well as I Spy).

Are you familiar with all of the WWW eps? I've been watching them and trying to find one ep. Arty is supposedly killed by West but he's been kidnapped. He returns at the end saying he was "risen from the grave like Lazarus."
I think West was charged with his murder. Would you happen to know the name of that ep?

That's from The Night Of The Pistoleros, though Jim isn't charged with Artie's murder, he's thrown in jail for espionage by a corrupt cavalry officer. There is another episode called Night Of The Skulls where they fake Artie's murder by Jim to lure out a group of villains.

Night of the Pistoleros was the one I was thinking of, thanks. It was nice to watch it again.

I believe this ep was special for me because they showed their emotions more. A lot of angst over Arty's supposed death. If you watch it you'll see what I mean. It's different from other eps. Maybe a different director? Arty was always my favorite I remember crying when I heard Ross died of heart problems.

Yeah, it's a great Jim/Artie friendship episode. Another one you might want to look up is The Night Of The Lord Of Limbo. Ricardo Montalban has kidnapped Artie (in a sense) and Jim is not pleased. It also features this great moment when it appears Artie is dead and Jim picks him up and carries him.

I'll have to give it a watch. I'm trying to get some writing done today. Ricardo was in Sol Madrid with David. Another connection to MFU besides The Dove Affair. One big happy MGM family.

Montalban was another one who made the spy show rounds. If I had the time - and patience - I'd gather up all the MFU-WWW-I Spy guest stars. A great "Rogues Gallery."
