I haven't been this girly in... ever.
With less than 2 weeks to go until san francisco, I have suddenly found myself going all...girly. It's been fun ^_^
I went shopping at Ulta and Victoria's Secret a few days back ^_^
Yesterday, I went to the grocery store to buy pens. That's it. Just pens. I walk out with nail polish remover and two different kinds of facial cleansers. And then I realize that there's a thrift store next to the grocery store. "maybe they'll have something cute for me to wear in SF" i think.
I leave with 2 dresses, 2 skirts (one of which i will end up wearing as a dress), 2 belts (well, three technically because one of the dresses came with a belt), 2 shirts, a pair of jeans and a trashcan. And you know how much I spent? $30. Hot damn i love thrift stores.
One of the dresses and one of the skirts are BRIGHT pink. Love it.
The jeans are probably the most amazing find ever. They are petite, so they actually, you know, fit without me having to hem them. They fit fantastically, a rare find for me. And they are uber cute. They've got all these cute patches on the side of the bottom legs, and on the butt. And it's got snaps SNAPS! I love snaps. AND, i discovered this morning.... I'm pretty sure the pcckets were BUILT for my cell phone. It fits PERFECTLY. So perfectly it's scary. i LOVE these jeans, so much. Best part? $8. I love thrift stores.
Last night, continuing with the trend of girlyness, i waxed my eyebrows. I'm pretty sure they're uneven. But hey, i don't have to look at them, so whatevs :P
I am really glad I've been working more since school ended. I'm really excited to see my paycheck from this and next week -- it'll have 24 more hours on it than i'm used to. Not only that, but it will directly deposited in my bank account while I'm in sf. Chances are it won't last to me coming home :P
