Is this the end?
So.... the 12 Days of Christmas, Veronica Mars style is over, but you never know when we'll pop back up ;) I think I speak for acinogan too, when I say that it's been a blast to be back! Thanks to EVERYONE who commented and shared, making this a great way to spend the holidays!
So until we decide when to make another appearance, let's keep the VM love alive!! The most awesome vanessagalore has been working very hard on starting up another (and different kind of) VM challenge community. It's hosted at dreamwidth but you do not have to have an account there to comment and/or participate. I for one think it is going to be a rewarding experience for all.

To try to drum up some extra interest in a new challenge community,
vmfictitious is running a screencap caption contest with an ebook as a prize. The ebook has been donated by bigboobedcanuck, who publishes original m/m fiction under the name Keira Andrews. The contest will celebrate the hoyay of VM, with the best caption voted on by the community.
More details about the contest and upcoming writing challenges will be revealed at
vmfictitious this Sunday, 1/2/11. The contest will run until 1/9/11, when the prompt for the first challenge will be revealed, and the writing will begin! There will be more contests like this in the future, so that there will be something for everyone, not just for the writers participating in the challenges. The writing challenges will be judged by special guest judges, each of whom will be known as..."Her Dudeness". Her Dudeness will be celebrated with fic reviews, trivia contests, interviews, etc. as the writer-participants are working on their challenge response. Hopefully, there will be something for everyone.
