Shameless plug
Today I went to the Midwest Music Summit and was introduced to Catfish Haven. Love love love them! They have two EPs out now and an LP coming out in September. Something happened that I thought would have made Kim jealous... what was it?? Oh well. I think it was something else, but I say a flyer for a dog ice cream social. Oh wait! Maybe it was that my parents saw Polka Boy on Friday - yes, they have accordians!
I guess that's about it... brief update. Work is going, counseling is going, I've been kind of social this week (good), I had some illness this week (bad), Lydia and Riley are in my basement after a fun-filled afternoon and evening (quite good), more fun is planned before they leave tomorrow. Then I need to figure out what I need to accomplish in order to make next week run more smoothly - and consequently make me feel like I didn't fritter my weekend. I hate getting to Sunday night and thinking - Aw man! It's time for another week of work and I didn't get anything done!
I made some garlic cheese bread tonight, pretty tasty! I kind of miss my kitchen experimentation from living on my own...
