Exciting News In My World!
The place where I'm temping wants to bring me on full time and give me more responsibilities! Starting on Monday I will have a portfolio of customers (companies) for whom I am responsible. I will be learning about how to keep track of the credits and taxes and all of that financial stuff! Eeeee!!!!
Ok, it's not my dream job, but I'm immensely pleased that they trust and respect me enough to give me this opportunity! Plus, it means I'm not scraping by financially any more. They even mentioned hiring me away from the temp agency, but that's a ways off.
What else? I'm planning to go see Twist and Shout, the crochet sculpture exhibit that I've been talking about for a while now. I also want to go to Art Vs. Art, an event intended to encourage people to purchase paintings, or watch them be destroyed! We'll see if I can get someone to go with me. Tomorrow I plan to go to Indianapolis BookFest, which promises some interesting speakers and workshops. Then maybe hang out with Lindsay for a while.
It looks like I won't be making my big trip to Bloomington for a few more weeks. Just a quick visit to see a friend before she moves in the middle of the week. I think that's it for now.
