i can't believe this is the last weekend of summer=(
can any of my entries start with something other than...boy it sure has been a while since I last wrote in here...what a slack-ass I am...UGH!
Reader's Digest version of the past 2+ weeks:
Lauren and Ibrahim's wedding celebration was very nice...so very Lauren and she made a stunningly beautiful happy bride...yeah~!
Work has really been consuming me lately...after working this weekend, I will have worked for 19 days straight...yes that is not a typo, folks...19 days straight...hey, wait, there are sundays in there...YEPPPER...had to work some of them too =( There are rewards for the weekend work...4 hours of work and 1 full day off during the week...to be used at my leisure.
It is time of realization, specifically like this one, that I find myself dreaming of myself in a blue and white gingham dress and ruby slippers; with the heels clicking and an echo of "there's no place like home, there's no place like home"
I applied for some jobs at UMD this week and have to follow up in mid september...Dear God~ please get me out of this place and into something more, well, ME!!!
Sean really out did himself for my b-day, but he has been chock full of surprises lately. T and Ryan had Sean and I over for dinner for the big day...Asian Firecracker marinated pork chops, applesauce and corn on the cob...lovely dinner. It is so nice that they can have us over to their place now that they have a townhouse too. Teresa gave me a little pink, coach leather sandal key chain...does that even make sense? It is a key chain that has a pink leather sandal on it with the coach c's all over it...the cutest damn thing, EVER! But the shock of the century...nothing from my father...but his girlfriend sent me a card...hmmmmmm, very interesting!!!
The gram has undergone some surgeries this week for blood infections, aneurysm in her abdomen and kidney stones...poor old thing!!!
Officially a Creative Memories consultant now. Placed my 1st qualifying order on Tuesday. Look out world=)
