Quick post...
Have too much work to finish and desperately need to stop procrastinating. Oiy.
So, what’s up - first off, my body is sore in a whole bunch of new ways, but damn was it worth it. Dodgeball freaking rocks. We played a good two hours yesterday, thanks to Chris and a bunch of his friends / their friends - definitely an awesome sport. If only I could throw & catch better. [at least I can dodge :P]
Amusing how that almost didn’t happen. I went to pick up my green bag from the ETS lost and found [in the confusion getting off the bus with Jen, I left it on the back seat... but because it was the RiverRidge 30 [a special form, I guess], it went right to the garage... but because it was a special bus, they almost weren’t able to find it at the depot. Oiy]. Anyways, the bag turned up, which is useful as there was a lot of goodies in there. Problem is, I had to meet Chris at 5:30 and it was just about 5:00 - so much for the “express bus to west Edmonton mall”. Little over an hour from downtown, on the so called express route. By which time they’d already left, and me not knowing where this event was held, I thought I was SOL. After running in for a quick bite to eat and change to make a phone call , I head back out to the bus-station... only to run into Chris, who decided to do one more pass incase I managed to show up. Absolutely awesome - thanks again man!
That pretty much covers it - now to get as many of these birdseye renders together as possible and somehow figure out a means to present this sustainability project. Despite not being able to do any more research on the subject, I seem to have absorbed all of the requisite data into ‘random science trivia’ part of my brain. This is... a good thing, as while I’m still a little lost with the presentation, I can talk, accurately, on this subject for at least 10 minutes [presentation length]. I just hope its enough - I can’t stress how strange of a project this is.
Anyways, work. Oiy. At least I have music now!
