I got shot by cyborg Eddie!!!
Sorry for the massive delay in posting this - I've been rather busy.
One week ago today marked the best show I've ever been to. And it was a show; just saying "concert" doesn't do it any justice. After 30 years of making music and still kicking it as good as ever - Iron-fucking-Maiden! I'm going to keep this short and sweet (cause, well, I'm at working and trying to hide the fact that I'm even on here, hehe). The show ruled, best ever - their 2008 Somewhere Back In Time tour (a lot of inspiration from Powerslave). And Eddie!!! My wonderful, lovable Eddie! Have I mentioned that I love Eddie? There was the easily 16 foot tall animatronic mummy eddie, and then the 10-12 foot tall cyborg Eddie roaming around the stage (and I got shot, woohoo!!!). I can't really come up with words to describe how awesome it was, save to say that after 30 years, the Iron Maiden boys still know how to rule all!
Is it too much to hope with all hope that they tour this way again? Please guys, please come back!
