Or economy is crappy too... Gas prices are not only through the roof, but high up in the sky too! One litre of gas = about 13SEK. Meaning about 2$, now that your dollar has crashed. And predictions has it it will rise at LEAST another 2 SEK by summer.
Food prices are the highest now that they've been for over 30 years too and stuff... But still...
Just smile and go "wiie" and things'll probably work out eventually ^^
I don't know how many liters there are in a Gallon ('cause the US is weird and has to do everything their own way), but gas here is around $4 a gallon...$3 is considered horribly expensive...I remember when it was $1.80....
One gallon is about 3.7 litres... And the gas price hasn't been that low here since the 90's
One gallon for us would cost 48SEK, or about 7$. And our prices are rising to new records, so we'll probably have to pay double to you. We had your current price about 1995 over here...
You should get a mini-car like me. Mine takes 0.6 litres per 10km. I would so love to have your gas prices over here...
haha, yeah, but you also probably have a lot less distance to travel on a regular basis, plus we don't have public transportation in most places.
It is true that our prices are cheaper than they are over there...and have always been I think, but that also means that this increase is really hard for us 'cause we're not used to it. AND so many people suddenly can't afford heat in the winter... So it's pretty bad.
anyway, sucks for everyone. we need to stop making gas cars!
