so okay, so my California geography is pretty shitty, but you're in the south, right? 'cause I'm gonna be in San Francisco next weekend, all of a sudden, and all by my lonesome!

I don't really know how much time I'll have to sightsee -- it definitely won't be a lot, 'cause I'll be in Cupertino at least half the time (and the whole trip only == 3 days). I might not even have a real night in SF 'cause my flight will get in so late. but whee, left coast! I've never really been over there -- I was around LA for a week in HS, but I was at a youth conference most of the time.

It's always been crazy to me that I can get to Vegas faster than that area of CA.

Hmm, okay. I think you'll probably just want to walk around, maybe visit some of the piers, see shops, the winding roads, etc. You are like me only on the opposite coast! It's pretty good temperature right now though, so I think you lucked out! Though SF isn't as hot as it is down here anyways, and I understand you guys had a major heatwave? You'll have to come have a proper visit sometime!

yeah, that's a little crazy to me too. kinda like how I'm closer to DC or Boston than my hometown in the same state?

I DO HAVE TO COME VISIT ZOMG! and yeah, heatwave. it was dumb. it's nice-ish now though.

I'm sure you're earning up your vacation time with all your hours! You can make a trip, it'll be awesome. Wooo, glad to hear that. Apparently we had the hottest July on record over here, so while you guys had like 103 with humidity that made it feel like 113, we just had 113. Eeeek. It's nicer here too, now. So yay!

I don't mind heat without the humidity. then it's just like, "well, I'm sweating, but I'm evaporating too!" when I was in Ghana it was like that.

Me too, really. It's hot, but you can get used to it. Which is why I love the west coast weather. ;)
