Hey there hi there ho there kiddies! Guess who's back in the land of the Intarweb? That's right! Gustav the pony rapist! Wait, no... ME! hahahaha I feel so sorry for the Comcast guy... he was here for an hour and a half and couldn't figure out why Internet Explorer was telling him the connection was FORBIDDEN. As soon as he leaves I fire up my spankin' new install of Firefox and whamo - I'm online. Fark you Microsoft.
So yeah, we've got blistering six megs of cable internet goodness coursing through the circuits of my loverly computer and I can't wait to try it out. This is going to be so much better than dial-up... oh lord.... so very much better. I have to get as much out of it as I can because as soon as Ree gets home from work she's going to body check me out of this chair so she can have a turn... poor girl... lack of web has made her sad. But I've got late bills to pay and City of Heroes/Villains to re-activate, so I should get on it.
Oh, did I mention that I just got a job? No? Well, I got a job. Yay! Well, I guess that's yay, because it will pay for this Internet connection. I now work at the Banana Republic Factory Store at the outlet mall not far from here. Isn't that groovy? Why the hell can't I stop working for mindless corporate entities? And this one employs child labor from Sri Lanka or whereever the hell they make these clothes that look so darn good on me... well, a paycheck is a paycheck and beggars can't be choosers.
Anyhoo, I'm off to catch up on two months of webcomics (Oh my beloved Megatokyo, I have missed you so) and bills. Laters peeps.
