(no subject)
I went to school Wednesday to help my teacher set up the room. Six hours later, the bookshelves were back in place, the screws were all screwed back, the computers were hooked up and working, the junky furniture was thrown out, the books were re-shelved, and the entire room was vacuumed.
On a less back-hurting note, I went to the mall with three of my friends afterwards :D I live pretty far from the mall but it's really close to school, so my mom and I just hung around there until everyone else arrived. Then I ran into another one of my friends completely by coincidence, which was kind of awesome. We proceeded to wreak havoc - well, actually, we ate dinner and window shopped. But we would have wreaked havoc were I not on the verge of collapse. >_>
Went back Thursday to help with Open House. Two hours of standing outside in the sweltering heat handing out fliers to parents -_-
And steam-cleaned the carpet Friday - two hours, which would have taken less if the teacher had bothered to read the instructions XD but anyway, I was told I would be rewarded handsomely, so...
Plus, always good for teachers to like you :3
Yeah. So, since I'm in IB I have to do an assload of community service, but there's a limit to how much I can do over the summer =| I'm already like five hours over it XD I just have no life and would rather do manual labor at school.
SO. Back to school Tuesday. Lucky me!
