(no subject)
So the semester is almost over. That's a shady thought... I have Monday and Tuesday, then thanksgiving (!) and then one week. THen i have a reading week and then FINALS. I am excited to go home, and I feel like I accomplished a lot this semester. It's nice that so much of G-Dub comes from the NYC-Tri-State area. I feel like I can go see them if I want. It sucks that some people live farther away, I feel like AIM is gonna be my best friend.
Speaking about best friends... i talked to Amy tonight, and have yet to get through to jamie. I miss the two of them so much. I feel like we have all gone through a lot, without each other, and thats a good thing, but I miss them terribly. I find myself daydreaming about them when I am in a boring lecture or when I am in a bad mood. In fact, the other day I was thinking about the three of us in the Chariot office and I started to laugh outloud. My roommate gave me a funny look and I had to explain the story to him. Oddly, that night I almost found myself crying from laughing inside and from missing them. I really cannot wait for this thanksgiving and christmas break...then i get to smile with them again.
SO there a 6 and a half foot christmas tree in my dorm room. Its good times. We havent decorated, but we have lights. I think my roommate is gonna get kicked out of houseing because he was caught smoking pot. Its a long story, but he deserves it...he almost got me and three of my friends in trouble. It's this whole respect thing that he just ignored and it really pissed me off. Well...not that bad, my quad might become a tripple!!!
Classes are going well. Had an interview for a white house internship and I work for the white house office of presidential correspondence. So the "DC" scene is starting to kick up.... It is still like 70 here though...oh well...
