When I get emails that want me to go to sites like this and claim to be from banks I'm not even a member of, I get suspicious.

So, I decided to find the REAL website for the bank, and send them this.
Dear Branch Banking and Trust,
I have received several suspicious emails claiming to be from your institution for a "client details confirmation procedure." This email appears to be a scam to get people to give up personal information through their email, and if it is so, a warning to you clients may be in order, to make sure that they are not tricked into identity theft.
Thank you for your time. Sincerely,

Freaking spam email identity theft people. They make me as angry as the people who set off the alarm in my dorm all the time.
