Happy Meme - part 3
Yesterday we had my family here for visit. (parents and both my sisters with families) We were quite nervous because I (Mitja says they must see how we really live.) always want that everything is perfect when they come. Of course it was not. Mitja was late going to store to buy ingredients for making sweet. So when they came he was still in a big cue (I think it happened before) so sweet was never finished and served. Luckily he bought good 'Pršut' (dried ham) and some pork greaves what my parents adore. With cleaning was no problem because our cleaning lady came on Saturday otherwise we had to put sign 'Health hazard' on bathroom door.
They were here about 3 hours and at the end I felt good about the visit.
Why happy meme? Because during the visit I was thinking how happy I am that I have family that accept me and Mitja as a member of the family. I had some problems after my coming out but now things are completely different. We even talked about decriminalization of homosexuality. In a way my parents are activists. For the second gay parade my father made rainbow hayreck for our organization and last year they (together with neighbors) helped to pack condoms that we gave away on December 1st.
