test and weekend update
This is a test. Cause suddenly LJ won't let me upload images to my Scrapbook. Trying Google Plus. Let's see if it works.
This is next-to-last weekend spent working at this job. I still plan to stay to the bitter end--for the money if nothing else. But this should be the last time I have to go in on the weekend. Four more injection days left (that refers to the technique I'm trained in and have practiced the last 25 years). I'm very good at it, much good it does me at this point. Still it'll be a break from throwing things out and cleaning things up. But there'll be less and less experimental work and more and more shutdown work as we wind down.
It was a productive weekend over all. I didn't connect with the folks who wanted the phone interview. Still at e-mail tag stage I guess. Or this is an empty gesture interview (the kind where they've already decided to hire from within but need to put on a show.) There's much less urgency with an empty gesture interview, on the employer's part I mean.
