University closed again. No one here at work again today and I feel like an idiot.
Cells gotta be fed. Chemicals gotta be injected. Experiments gotta be set up.
The (main) roads are clear, the sun is out, the temperature is going up, up, up.
I should be home watching Fringe and eating Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt.
Asides: No Valentine's fic for you. It's written except for the s*xy part and I'm not up for that, sorry. I keep posting Sisters although it seems no one's reading it. Twill be good to have it done and off my mind. Still have 6 more chapters (two weeks) of posting. Still working at the 15 characters meme but erratically.
Finished S1 of Fringe, watching with R. Nice! Halfway through S7 of X-Files. Kind of meh but good enough to keep going. Bought the last season of Primeval and Primeval:New World just to complete the set.
Finished War and Peace. Mainly liked it. Still didn't like the war parts as much. I just get lost in descriptions of large groups of men moving over miles of country to meet in slaughter. Finished Stand on Zanzibar (let down of an ending, and oddly optimistic for a dystopia). About to finish Dracula. Have the urge to watch Jackman's Van Helsing. Abraham Van Helsing (book VH) is such an odd duck. Right now he is bloviating about philosophy and religion and (bad) science until my mind wanders off. This is a real problem with an audio book. I was liking Mina Harker a lot more but now she's been relegated to full damsel in distress mode. *sigh* Maybe I'll watch League of Extraordinary Gentlemen again.
Gotta get started. Not working the whole day but I will be if I don't get going.
