I've notice many people discussing what they wrote and read and watched the past year. I can't give an exhaustive list by any means, but I was thinking about my on-and-off media consumption habits and what it all MEANS. Which is not much, but it's a post, eh? First we'll do books, since that's the longest list.

I love the Anne series, from start to finish. Anne of the Island is probably my favorite, followed by the first two, and then Rilla of Ingleside. I do love all the boys going off to war, the girls at home, Rilla becoming a woman; it really affected me as a young reader, the idea that stories could continue, that new characters could be introduced, that things didn't end just because the writer stopped writing.
You've reminded me that I need to post my media lists. I have them all written up in my little notebook, but I haven't typed them up since, like, June. Not that anyone cares, but I like to have a quickly-accessible list wherever I am.
