Should I buy a digital piano? I don't have room for an acoustic one, and my ear is not that good that I could tell much difference. They've certainly improved over the years. The hammer-action weighted keyboard was very authentic-feeling. I don't need all the digital bells and whistles; I just want to play

I would say yes, but that is only because I miss having a piano too and also have no room, however just watch out sometimes digital ones have less range than "normal" ones - probably not enough to notice but the only time I have used them I found I was running out of keys (I was playing songs from phantom of the Opera and they do make sure your fingers move over as much of the piano as possible)

The one I'm looking at has a full keyboard. (I think I'm going to do it!)
