One More Day, Then the Deluge
I've re-arranged all our schedules to allow me to go to WV and help out with the 'rents, for 5 or 6 days, with optional repeat trips twice in June. It took all morning yesterday to juggle everything. Also started the FMLA paperwork for this episode, and let HR know I might need to do it again for R. Still need to tell my supervisor(s). By e-mail since neither are reachable by phone.
First grade field trip tomorrow, then I hit the road. I'm not used to traveling sans kids; it might be nice. Loading up on audiofare for the trip. New fanmixes courtesy of abracax (thanks!)
Just as a side note; the B5 podcast is now going to do a Male-centric version of their Babe Poll. Dudes, it has been Done.
Have Foyle's War on dvr, but no time to watch. *whine*
Not writing right now. Finished Reveille. Trying frantically to think of something for femgenficathon . It's a totally generic prompt, which should make it easier, but methinks my brain doesn't work that way. I have an idea for a Donna Noble story which would entail a deal of research and I'd probably get it wrong. Also the glimmerings of a Lise Edgars story. That one would have to be careful not to veer into Lise/Garibaldi territory. Did she change her name to Lise Garibaldi?? Maybe that's part of the story. I've been thinking a lot about Lise lately. She's one stubborn lady, you know? Never gave up...I think it's an essential part of her character. To move on, to move along, but also to never give up. I rather like that.
