The earliest draft of Chick Flick that I have is dated September 11, 2008. That draft was rescued from my old laptop after it crashed. I started working on this idea back on the jumpnow forum, before I found LJ.
24, 874 words later. Finally....it's done. Almost completely unbeta'd (
nolivingman , check your e-mail later today! Usual caveats, as you have time, etc.) and no doubt in need of much revision, but D-O-N-E, done. The last few scenes came out like pulling teeth, and they probably suck, but they are out of my head and written down, which is half the battle. It is also safely copied to two hard drives and one key.
I went searching for a Snoopy icon on purpose for this. Thanks to Google and
ohnurse I found one.
The next part of Susan and Delenn's Excellent Adventures is provisionally titled 'Quest'. But I have two ficathon stories to work on first. The deadlines are uncomfortably tight on those, and there are some dicey issues with both that I'll no doubt be asking advice on. But today, my head feels so light! I'm going to hit the showers and get myself into work. Waste of a beautiful day, but I'm short-staffed next week (which means I'm on my own) and that spells crunch time.
