Just watched The Ghost, the film of the book by Robert Harris - and, while not mesmerised by the pretty of Ewan McGregor, it wasn't bad, and I actually liked the changes they made from the book, which is a rarity. The music was weird (like creepy fairground tunes), but worked, in a really, really weird way. And the ending? Better than the book.
Oh, and Wikipedia informs me that, in the US, it's called The Ghost Writer. Of course it is. *headdesk*
But yes.
Also, it really irritates me when my parents and brother say that we're going out for "chinkie food" (chinese), and don't see anything wrong with that. I refuse to be the PC police, but still. Casual racism is still racism. Or something. But, obviously, I have no right to comment on this kind of thing because of the colour of my skin.
Internet racism discussions are very confusing.
