Although, I picked up next week's Radio Times the other day. :DDDD Torchwood! *dances* Oh, yes. We've been waiting since January for this, ffs. Except the Jack/Ianto fangirls will go nuts. *facepalm* The one canon slash ship, and I can't stand it. Also? Mock the Week starts on Thursday, and I miss that because it's on at the same time as Torchwood. *facepalm*
Now I'm thinking about the Torchwood fandom again, and that reminds me: portmanteau ship names. Why the hell are they so popular? I mean, there's Janto (Jack/Ianto) in Torchwood which isn't so bad, but then you think about nu!Trek... *epic facepalm* Seriously. Spork? Kock? Bork? ChSulu (and you can't even say that one)? And then the RPSers have Pinto (which isn't so bad, I guess), but the other day I saw Urbine. Guys, that sounds like "turbine". Which isn't helpful in the slightest. Portmanteau ship names: bloody ridiculous.
