I have an interview downtown tomorrow with a headhunter for a research analyst position in an upstart boutique investment banking firm. Translation: I'm inching closer to a job!

Josh drove up and it was glorious and wonderful to see him and not just hear him on the phone. He was in chi-town for last week, mon-fri. But his AC on the red pickup blew around Gary, IN, and the poor boy had to drive home without. On friday we went downtown, to Chinatown and Millennium park. Millennium Park is my new favorite place. Even if the bean isn't done yet.

Oh and Jose, Josh is so much better than you at poker. Because I've seen his cards when you have folded. OH SNAP!

And Brandon, I know you're not going back to UA, because I saw you cleaning toilets at O'Hare Airport last month. COW TIT!

And Wargs, you're so right, about everything. Except your choice to not get drunk. You need to inform me when the happy day arrives. COME SIT!

And it was 104 degrees where I live today. So it was a little hot.

Oh yeah, and my church had its annual rummage sale on saturday, at which I worked and also bought a suit in a bag sale for less than $1, and then I heard and saw the Verdi opera Otello performed at Ravinia. (outdoor music festival. not acted with sets and costumes, just sung. OK, but after working for 8 hours at rummage I fell asleep near the end. But it was cool, because it's based on a Shakespearean tragedy, I know everyone dies at the end. And it did have running english captions, which was nice, since I don't speak italian.)
