"You're doing it again."

"...?"

"That thing you do. You're doing it again."

Ahrk raised her long eyebrow. "What?"

Twilightt frowned. "Keeping your problems to yourself. I know about your shapeshifting problem, why couldn't you have told me?"

The druid sighed, turning away from the hunter to look out over the large sanctuary from atop the tier with the blood elves. They gave looks of distaste at the white-haired night elf, who had sided with the draenei of the grand city.

"I don't know, I just... I keep hoping I can figure out why I can't, so that no one else would have to worry."

Twilightt gave her a look of pity. "Look, I don't know why either, but I can help you figure it out. Two is better than one, right?"

Ahrk said nothing, performing a somersault in the air before taking flight, her wings flapping as she directed herself to the central area.

"Where are you going?!" Twilightt yelled, hurriedly getting atop her armored gryphon.

The bird said nothing still, simply shapeshifting back to the tall night elf as she reached the portals to the alliance cities.

"Let's hope the Archdruid indeed knows something about this."

A millisecond, and she was in the lush temple of the moon in Darnassus.

Darnassus... she hadn't been truly home in a long time. She called Shattrath her home now, but Darnassus always had a spot reserved in her heart. She stretched, the arcane magics fading around her. Twilightt appeared next to her, looking around.

"Been a while. I usually don't come here. It's Ironforge for me."

Ahrk scoffed. "You are a dwarf lover, you know that?"

Twilightt laughed. "What can I say? They're tough little bastards. With amazing building skills."

The druid shook her head, chuckling softly. She began to walk out of the temple, making her way to the Cenarion Enclave across the way.

Twilightt's senses perked up. Someone was watching them. She turned her head slightly, blinking in surprise as the high priestess was looking upon the druid with horror as Ahrk strolled out the entrance.

~~~
"Uh, Ahrk...?"
"Mm?" She turned to face the hunter hurriedly leaving the temple behind her.
"Did you see...?"
Ahrk quirked her head, her eyebrow rising. "See what? Twi, I don't have time. I have to go see the Archdruid."
"But...!" The hunter stalled, watching the druid walk down the large ramp. What was going on? Why would High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind be looking at Ahrk like that...?
~~~

Peeking in the room, Ahrk noted the Archdruid was busy muttering to himself over near one of his cabinets.

"Archdruid Staghelm?"

The elder night elf startled, whirling around. "What is it? Who are you?"

Ahrk fully came in the room, barely noticing that Twilightt remained in the doorway. "Uhm, I just have a question. About a problem."

Fandral frowned, looking upon the smaller druid. "There is something wrong with you."

Ahrk blinked in surprise. "You can tell?!"

The Arch-druid crossed his arms. "Of course I can tell. It's all over you."

Ahrk looked down on her person, turning over her hands and checking. "I don't see anything..."

The male night elf strolled forward, yanking her left arm up. She gasped, looking into his angry face.

"You can't even sense this taint on you? What kind of druid are you?" He leaned close, looking into her eyes.

She barely moved, refusing to blink. What was this guy doing? Twilightt had moved from beyond the doorway, standing behind her as a supportive shadow.

"Arch-druid sir..."

The man turned, glaring at the hunter. "And what do you want?"

The white haired night elf simply glared back. "Please let go of her."

Ahrk stared in shock at the two. What the...? Her arm was released, and she darted back behind the hunter, simply watching as they continued to battle with their eyes.

"Fandral," a calm voice interjected.

Everybody turned as the high priestess Tyrande strode in.

"Tyrande." Staghelm bowed his head once at her, moving his glare to Ahrk this time. Tyrande herself had stopped in front of the druid, speculating.

Ahrk glanced between the two. "...What?"

The priestess sighed, shaking her head at the druid. "My poor child."

Ahrk was beginning to panic. "What?! What's wrong with me?!"

Tyrande placed her hands on the purple-haired elf's shoulders. "It's not easy to say this. I pray that we find a cure before it becomes any worse."

Ahrk studied her face in fear. "....what..?"

"My child, you have been tainted. You are excuding the aura of a demon. You are becoming one."
