Are you an SUV or a small sedan??.....The difference in greenhouse gas production between meat eaters and vegetarians is comparable to the difference in emissions put out by an SUV (meat eater) and a small sedan (vegetarian). Obviously the person eating isn't directly emitting these gasses...it was calculated based on the greenhouse gasses created from producing each of the food types.
Tired of high gas prices? You haven't seen high yet. Some economists say raising gas prices is the only way to get American auto makers to make ALL vehicle models gas efficient. In Europe gas taxes have caused high gasoline prices for over a decade, thus nearly all vehicles made and sold in Europe get at least 40 mpg. ..I want one!
