I'M BACK!!! finally arrived at beautiful hendrix late wednesday night. it's the best thing that's happened to me all break except for my shoes and seeing brandon in my world. he really saved me from my home. the familiar face and conversation was wonderful. i don't think he know's how much i enjoyed his coming to see me even if he didn't just come to see me.
my other savior while in new orleans was CC' coffehouse and Alice Sebold. without them my mind would have rotted away into depression. fortunately i made it through in one piece and with more than enough money for my books this semester, huge relief.
i did nothing but work everyday and i'm actually looking forward to studying hard and work study in admissions. the drive was quiet successful considering the horrible weather and the 10 hours of being in a car. if it hadn't been for LSMSA and Fred Baker i don't think heath and i would have made it through. seeing ben and eating wonderful louisiana food was just what i needed for four and a half hours of rain and heated talks about politics and religion. i can't wait to see what heated talks we have on our next drive together.
