My mom brought a mini fiber optic christmas tree for my room. I actually like it a lot. Bit by bit my room is becoming more homey. It's strange how quickly a person can get used to a new routine. It's strange that it's exciting to get unhooked from all my meds so I can take a shower in the morning. I think that's my favorite time of day lately.
I have an amazing view of mount hood. Every morning as the sun is rising I'm amazed all over again. What a silly mortal I may be, but really I am truly lucky in so many, many ways.
Okay, it's off to bed. I don't know how often I'll be able to update. It seems that the day nurses don't think I'm allowed to use this handy computer, however, the night nurses love that I am out of my room using it. I'm sure in time I'll be able to work the system like a pro, but in the meantime I expect this will be just as random as my entries have been for the past year or so.
