CHAPTER 1 - I’ve Found You
‘Whew… It surely is freezing cold outside.’ Jin said to himself after stepping outside the warmth of his house. He pulled his coat closer to his body. It’s already December and the temperature is dropping really low. He now regretted that he had lost that board game to his twin brother.
‘Lucky bastard. While I’m here walking alone in the freezing night, he’s in there comfortably snuggling under the warm covers over the couch, waiting for his treat to be delivered to his face.’ Jin continuously muttered to himself. He can’t protest to his brother’s winning though because his brother had won fairly and beats him shameless on his own challenge.
Jin remembered the events earlier that evening that causes him to walk down the freezing road. He had challenged his brother on a game of chess earlier that evening. He wants to buy some snacks but did not want to go outside. So using his genius mind, he dared his brother to defeat him in the said game. Then whoever loses the game, will buy the other any snack that the winner chooses.
His twin brother, having a craving of his own, immediately accepts his challenge. But he should have known that his twin is also determined to not go outside the house. Jin thought to himself. ‘And I call myself a genius eh…’ Jin shakes his head remembering that his twin seriously played the game, and after about 30 minutes, the game ended with Jin as the loser.
Jin once again shakes his head for the irony of the events. ‘So much for my genius plan.’ Jin thought while he walks down the snow-covered road.
Jin was just about to turn to the right when he saw a shadow on his peripheral vision that is wavering on the left corner of the street. Being the curious soul that he was, he turns to his left instead and walks towards the shadow.
The lights on that part of the street are quite dim and almost blinking. So Jin cautiously treaded the path towards the shadow. Jin feels that the closer he gets to the shadow the faster the beating of his heart would be.
As he gets closer Jin figures out that it was a shadow of a human that is leaning against the wall. And because of the dim light, he cannot figure out if it’s a man or a woman. All that he can see is the long hair that is covering the face of the person. Jin approaches the person carefully, though he is curious, he is still anxious for his well-being. Jin stops his pace and step aback when the person leaning against the wall advanced towards him slowly.
Jin suddenly remembers the horror movie that he and his twin have watched the previous night. He may never admit it to anyone but he was somewhat terrorized by the said movie. And now it was like he was watching it again but unfortunately he’s the one in danger now.
He almost had a heart attack (if he had a heart disease that is) when he saw the trail of blood that is coming from the person in front of him. Jin’s heart almost skidded to a stop when he saw the person extended out its hand like it was reaching for him. His breath hitched a bit when he saw that the hand is soaking with blood. He then commanded himself to run for his life. Jin was about to do just that when he heard the person’s husky voice.
“H-help… h-help m-me…” The person said before finally collapsing.
Ignoring his own fear, Jin catches the falling human before it completely lay on the chilly road.
“Hey, hey! Hey you! Wake up!” Jin said while gently patting the hair covered face of the being. He is afraid of what he will see when he removed the mass of hair covering that face. ‘Oh man, what am I going to do now?’
Ignoring again the fear that he felt, Jin removes the hair on the person’s face. He suddenly stops and stared on the face of the stranger. What he saw is not what he had expected to see. It surpasses all of his expectation. The stranger’s face is nothing of the scary ones that Jin had thought. Instead, it was the one of the most beautiful face that he had ever seen.
Holding the stranger close to him, Jin suddenly felt the liquid warmth that is flowing on his hands that is located on the back of the stranger. Jin suddenly remembers all the blood. He instantly inspects the body that he is currently holding. To his horror it was full of blood! ‘Oh shit! He will bleed to death at this rate.’ Jin immediately called his brother for help. After the call, he immediately carries the stranger to take it to the main road where his brother will pick them up.
He sighed in relief when he reached the main road and saw that his brother is already there. His brother is really dependable. He almost runs towards the car, but remembering his cargo he then prefers to walk faster.

Junno, seeing that his brother is carrying someone, immediately gets out of the car. Without any question (he will save it all for later, Junno thought), he opens the door on the back seat to make it easier for Jin to enter the car.
Once his brother is inside the car, Junno drove the car like a mad man. He wants to reach the hospital quickly. While they are inside the car, Junno can’t help but notice the worry that is written on his twin’s face. He hasn’t seen that emotion before on Jin’s face. It was like; the one that Jin is carrying is so important and precious to him. So he cannot help but asks the question that is lurking on his mind for some time now.
“Ne, Jin” Junno said, glancing on the rear view mirror to meet Jin’s eyes. “Who is she?” he continues when Jin meets his eyes finally.
“I don’t know…” Jin said honestly then looks back to the stranger that he is still holding.
“You-…” Junno stops asking any more questions when he noticed that they are now approaching the premises of the hospital. ‘Something’s telling me that Jin’s single life is about to end.’ Junno smirks to himself then glance once again at the rear view mirror. ‘But she must survive first…’ He suddenly grimaced.

Even before the car stops completely in front of the hospital, Jin opens the door and carries the limp body towards the emergency room immediately.
He cannot explain it to himself. The fear that he had felt earlier turns into worry for the person that he is holding. Reaching the emergency room, he immediately cried for help and within seconds, nurses came towards him.
They let him lay down the patient on the hospital bed before pushing it towards the emergency room. He was about to go inside when one of the nurses stops him.
“I’m sorry Sir, but you cannot go inside” the nurse said politely.
“Alright…” Jin stop completely and just stared at the door of the emergency room. And just about that time, his twin brother Junno appears on his right side and patted him on the shoulder.
“She’ll be alright Jin. Don’t worry.” Junno said comforting him.
“I hope so Junno…” Jin said in a worry-laced voice.
“By the way Junno, it’s a he.” Jin said suddenly.
“EH?!”
