“I’m going to watch him…”

I looked back at the owner of the voice. “Are you sure? Is it alright for you to do it now?”

He smiles at me, masked sadness and determination reflects in those beautiful eyes.

“I can only do this much for him.” It was sad, his voice.

“You can do this later Kame - chan. There’s no need -” I was cut off.

“He deserves his freedom back.” Again, the voice has so much sadness in it that I cannot bear to hear.

“But you’re not happy.” I said in a matter of fact.

He smiles but it did not reach his eyes. He made his way to me before he gently hugs me.

“But I know I will be…” he said.

I can only hug him back. In my arms, he turns back into his fragile, vulnerable self. The one I wish I could protect.

"I'm leaving..."

Kamenashi Kazuya froze. Agony was slowly creeping into his heart, making him numb. It was an effort for him to hold back his sobs and looked back at the man he loved all of his life.

Akanishi Jin stood there in front of him, sadness clearly written on his entire face. For once, Jin was not covering what he really felt but Kazuya did not feel any better.

“How long?” Kazuya said in a nonchalant voice. He’s hurting but he’s determined not to show it to Jin.

“I’m leaving KAT-TUN for good…” Jin stared directly onto his eyes.

The strength he builds in himself slowly crumbles as Jin’s words sink in. He felt his knees buckles, unable to support his sagging body. He was sure it’d hurt when he hit the ground but he preferred to feel that physical pain a thousand times than that within his heart.

But the pain he anticipated did not came as he felt Jin’s arms enveloping him. Any other time, he will feel warmth, security and happiness. But at this very moment, he can only feel pain, pain and more pain.

“Why are you doing this to me?” Kazuya said his voice was filled with agony.

“I’m sorry…” Jin can only say.

Kazuya slowly withdrew himself from the arms that always comfort him. He knew what was coming but he had to ask it still.

“You’re leaving me too, aren’t you?” That hurts.

Jin avoided his eyes.

“Jin!”

Guiltily, Jin slowly nodded his head and it was enough to break Kazuya’s heart a thousand times all over again.

“I see…” Kazuya said in a little voice. He looked back at Jin before saying, “But I’m not ready to give your freedom back Akanishi.”

Jin looked back at him after hearing his harsh voice. “What are~”

“As long as I’m not watching any of your acts, you’re still mine Jin…” Kazuya said. Even to himself he sounds like a crazy man, who loses his mind.

“That’s not fair Kazuya~”

“I deserved better than this Akanishi!” Kazuya shouts, the tears he kept, bursting in his sudden outburst but he still reigns himself.

Jin stays still before he said, “I’ll be looking out for you then, Kazuya.” Taking a step forward, Jin hugged him one last time.

Kazuya knew that even though he said it like that, Jin is no longer his. Jin’s heart is no longer his.

Jin kissed his forehead.

“I’ll miss you Kazuya… Goodbye…” Jin walked away then. He walked out of Kazuya’s life.

Kazuya could only nod; he’s feeling numb and shallow.

Amidst the sea of thousand screaming fans, Kazuya stood still. The dome is practically bursting with the fans excitement and the performers energy. But Kazuya was not feeling any of that as tears that he had held for several months flow freely down his face.

He tried his best to win him back for several months but Jin never looked at him again the same way he did years ago, when their love is at its bloom. When no one was more important than the other, more important than themselves.

Realizing this, Kazuya decided.

He’s finally ready to let him go.

He’s giving Akanishi Jin’s freedom back.

Even though it kills him.

Ueda Tatsuya and Nakamaru Yuuichi watch their friend and former band mate on his stage. They both know why they are in there. And they can’t help but to hold Kazuya’s hands in an attempt for comfort.

Kazuya stood his ground as Jin moves to have his interactions with his fans. He deliberately selected that spot because he knew that Jin would immediately see him once he moves from stage to stage.

Kazuya was sure Jin’s eyes widens when he saw him there. Though tears were covering his eyes, he smiles. The same smile that Jin had loved long time ago. The smile that only belongs to one Akanishi Jin.

Jin’s voice falters, but he continues his act anyway. He looked at Kazuya directly before saying thank you in between the songs gaps.

Kazuya once again could only nod. This seems to be the end of his first true love.

Kazuya felt Tatsuya and Yuuichi squeeze his hands gently. He maybe in pain right now, but maybe in the future…

A/N: I know I’m not updating for several months now. I’m really sorry guys. Work has been a pain for me… well at some point not really… XD I’ve got promoted some time ago, so the pressure has been building since then… But I’ll try to update sooner. Hopefully, before the month the ends, or miraculously before the turtle’s birthday. This is totally random. So please tell me what you think. Thanks for reading! Comments are loved and definitely appreciated. Ja ne! =]
