Serious, kickass art from the Art of Disney...
From my spur-of-the-moment trip to Orlando - I'm only 2 hours away from there! One of my friends from NJ texted me last week (hahaha while I was practicing the Sleeping Beauty waltz) and said they were staying at the Wilderness Lodge and to come visit if I could. HELL YEAH! So, last Friday, I booked a hotel (that was a fraction of the lodge) for one night, cabbed it over (cause I knew I would be drinking) and spent the evening catching up with her. She treated me to drinks and dinner OMG BEST salmon EVAH! The following day I strolled around Downtown Disney before heading home..and of course I stopped in the Art of Disney...OMG drool, I could spend hours in this shop!! Yes, I asked permission before snapping these :) I'm not posting this on facecrack, because then I'll hear the "oh you were in Orlando and didn't tell me???"
ANYWAY I couldn't help but notice that two of my favorite ladies were prominently displayed. They totally skimped on the other classic goodies and baddies.
This one's a little blurry (sorry) but made me think of Andrea Degas early early sketch...I need to find it...

And right next to "Love" is Maher's "Evil Fairy"

Two summers ago I got sucked into the Kingdom Hearts series...at one point they had Belle and Maleficent square off. Awesome!
