I have a question for everyone. I am interested in starting a blog, but for some reason I'm really paranoid about the idea of someone stealing my writing (not that it's so excellent, but still, it's MINE). I mean, LiveJournal is pretty secure when it comes to those kinds of things, but I want to make an entirely public, searchable blog. Does anyone know about guaranteeing copyrights on blogs, or how does that work? Is there any way to make your blog safer?
P.S. I don't even know if blog plaigiarism is a big problem or anything, but still...I'd like to know.
P.P.S. What the hell is a blog, anyway? I mean, I know what I mean when I say I want one, but I still don't get the difference between, for example, SweetGirl16's latest dating tragedies, and the New York Times' political discussion forum. What makes a blog different from a diary (like LJ), or is there even a difference?
