Geekin' Out....
I have officially been geeked the frak out. I know I am mixing with the TV show lingo, but the idea still stands. Living in Portland is really a blessing, particularly since one of my FAVORITE shows is shot here: Leverage. So let me tell you what happened:
La di da di da I'm driving downtown, changing lanes and minding my own business, heading to a coffee shop to type up a paper on depression (of all things), when I see some giant semi trucks parked on the street. They're slightly blocking my lane and as I swerve around them I read the lettering on the side: Pacific Lighting and Grip. Well, there is only one thing shooting in downtown Portland right now and immediately my brain starts spinning into hyperactive overdrive. OMGOMGOMG it's shooting. THEY are shooting right here in my own backyard. I went into complete and total fangirl meltdown.
Well, I have spent the last couple of hours looking up production companies and cast/crew of Leverage and counting the number of blocks that I would have to run to get there. So much for my paper. If I didn't have to go to work in a couple of minutes I would be standing on the corner, cup of coffee in hand, doing the creepy fangirl stalking that is the TV show watcher's stock in trade. Maybe they will still be here when I get off.... Hmmm..... *giggles hysterically*
