Characters: Ricalna Forde eachpurpose and Torukisu chaostide When: Around noon. What: After finding out that Ricalna was in this world too, Torukisu might just go and ask Ricalna out for lunch. Rating: PG-13
Ricalna thought that by being stuck in this world he didn't have to worry about his troubles back from where he originally came from. However, he found himself doomed when he had made contact with Torukisu via through their journal devices. He'd rather have that annoying, stingy Rindo here with him than Torukisu.
He had then thought about running away, when his enemy said that they were going to meet up right here and right now. Though, after thinking back twice, both Ricalna and Torukisu were stuck here. Even if Ricalna ran away now, they were just bound to run into each other eventually.
"I figured it was easier to keep an eye on you than to have you stab me in the back sooner or later," Ricalna retorted back, his golden and red eyes narrowing at the Torukisu who had just arrived. Just as Ricalna still had his guns with him, Ricalna was not surprised to see Torukisu with his giant sword behind him. The sword was very clean, which made Ricalna remember that the first time they met it was covered in blood. "Are you really planning on keeping your word about not killing anyone here?"
He continued to smirk, smirking at the glare of daggers he was being given to by the silver-haired android. It was easily noticeable that Ricalna still did not trust him, and Torukisu didn't think that was going to change for a while.
"Why would I kill anyone here any way?" Torukisu scoffed, eyes darting out to take a look at his surroundings, including the civilians. He might be a blood-thirsty android, but Torukisu even knew his own limits. "Nothing comes out of killing these guys here. My target is back at Area 0, get it? It would just be a waste of my time."
Speaking about wasting time, Torukisu looked up at a giant clock hanging on a nearby light pole - set there for convenience - and saw it was a little past noon now. "Let's stop standing around and doing nothing," Torukisu proposed just as he reached out and lightly gripped one of Ricalna's wrists, "I'm hungry, let's grab some grub."
Ricalna was taken by surprise when he felt a light grip around his wrist, before then feeling himself being dragged off. Since the grip wasn't that tight, Ricalna easily tore his wrist out of Torukisu's hand. "I can walk by myself perfectly fine." And that was what Ricalna did, walk by himself at Torukisu's side.
Though that wasn't even the prime issue here. Torukisu had barely arrived in this world, and now he was complaining about being hungry. "Hungry or not, you won't be getting any food if you don't have money, y'know." Ricalna explained, letting a small sigh of near exhaustion escape through his lips. "And I bet you don't have any money at all, and no threatening the restaurant owners with your sword!"
Torukisu's smirk still remained on his face even after Ricalna tore his arm away. Ricalna may still hate him, though Torukisu found it slightly amusing that Ricalna was obedient enough to still follow the starving android. "I'm not THAT bad as to threaten people with weapons even if I am starving," Torukisu scoffed, "What do you think I am, an animal?"
The question about money was then brought up, and Ricalna did have a good point. "Oh, money?" He didn't sound too surprised to hear that. Instead, however, Torukisu pulled out a wallet from the pocket of his pants, and held it out. It was pretty thick. "I found this on the ground when I came here. Since no one was around to claim it, I just took it with me."
Ricalna didn't even have to turn his head to look at Torukisu square in the eye to know that the taller android was definitely messing with him - one way or the other. "If not an animal then I wouldn't know what else you could be." Ricalna, very annoyed, 'hmphed' quietly to himself as he only continued to look straight forward as they walked.
However, his attention on the view in front of him mattered no more; at least, not when Torukisu had pulled out the thick wallet. Ricalna then couldn't help but gawk a little with eyes wide. "So you're telling me you just took someone's wallet?" Disbelief was written all over his face, "That is something you turn into at the police station, you idiot!"
Torukisu decided to ignore that animal comment, and returned his attention to the wallet - that was now the subject of their conversation. "So?" He wondered if Ricalna forgot that he was talking to Torukisu, a man with no human morals and doesn't care whether the world blows up or not.
"You should be thanking me that now I can fill your empty stomach." Torukisu smirked, obviously looking at the brighter side of the picture. He then began to toss the wallet up into the air, catching it back down into his hand, and he repeated this process. "Besides, it doesn't look like you have any money. What were you planning on doing? Starving until you get a job?"
There was simply no way Ricalna was possibly going to get along with Torukisu. Ricalna couldn't help but let out an exhausting sigh just as he placed the palm of his hand to his forehead in disgrace. "So? I don't get you one bit and I probably never will."
Though Torukisu did have a point that Ricalna will never admit to; and that was that Ricalna was hungry, but wasn't so keen on using money that Torukisu happened to find on the ground. But with each restaurant they passed he couldn't help but feel hungrier by the next. "Fine, fine, let's go get some lunch. Your treat."
When Ricalna had finally came to the terms of agreement, Torukisu had a bright smile plastered on his face. He then put the wallet back into his pocket, and then wrapped his arm around Ricalna's neck in a manly-bonding motion. "I knew you would agree soon or later."
After a while later Torukisu's eyes set themselves on a nearby, small cafe. The place looked nice and clean, though simple at the same time. So Torukisu assumed that it was decent and didn't cost his life to pay for a meal for two. "This way, this way." He urged, or rather forced, Ricalna to follow him over to the cafe.
There he asked for a seat for two people, though since the inside of the building seemed full, Torukisu settled for an outside table that one of the waitresses lead them to. "Go order whatever you want. I'm sure this wallet has enough to pay it all off."
Ricalna jumped a little when the other android got so close of a sudden. It still confused him as to why he and his enemy were on such close grounds all of a sudden. Though it wasn't as though Ricalna wanted to duke it out with Torukisu, because that would be nothing but fighting and trouble - and Ricalna didn't want to disrupt the peace here.
"Here?" The android blinked once Torukisu had selected an eating spot. It was a simple enough cafe, full of people bustling around. "Oi, you don't have to go so fast!" Ricalna sighed as he was being forcefully dragged over to the cafe.
It was then all in a matter of minutes and seconds passing when Ricalna found himself sitting in a chair, across from Torukisu who seemed to already be browsing through a menu. "Ah, okay..." He said quietly just as he slowly reached for his own copy of the menu. And for some odd reason Ricalna felt like the air around them was a little tensed. Maybe he just felt weird that two grown men were eating together at some small-named cafe...
Torukisu took a few seconds to scan over the list of meals, beverages, and whatever else the cafe served. Then once he decided he closed the menu, set it back flat against the table, and waited for Ricalna to finish choosing.
He then noticed how uncomfortable and tensed Ricalna looked. The guy was just asking to be teased. "What? You feel weird because you rather sit with a cute girl so this outing looks more like a date?"
Ricalna hated how he was so easy to read, so easy to understand by his own enemy. That's why Torukisu easily defeated him that other day, it was because Ricalna let down his guard too easily.
Though he felt his cheeks burning a little, a light-tinted red flashed across his face at Torukisu's embarrassing comment. "N-No! I mean, yes... But that's not the point!" Ricalna yelled at the other android, though kept his volume reasonably low to avoid attracting unwanted attention. By now he was regretted accepting Torukisu's invitation to eat together.
The results turned out better than Torukisu thought. Actually, other than the fighter that Ricalna is, Torukisu was beginning to like this denial side of Ricalna too.
"You're blushing," He stated the obvious with that cocky grin of his, "How cute."
Ricalna thought the world was going to end very soon; for him at least. Though instead of the world ending, he made do by getting a shiver down his spine as well as glaring at Torukisu with narrowed, threatened eyes. "C-Cute?!" He managed to cough out, ashamed that he choked on his own spit just now.
"I think your head is missing a screw or two... Literally." Towards the end of his sentence Ricalna mumbled out that part, not really needing Torukisu's opinion right now.
The android then pushed the chair back, it's legs screeching against the concrete floor, and then Ricalna stood up. "I think I'll pass on lunch now. I rather go look for a place to sleep at tonight and a job as soon as possible."
"I could be," Torukisu said, referring to the idea of him losing a few screws in his head. He did wake up in the middle of this world, so he wasn't that surprised if some part of him was malfunctioning now. Not to mention his creator wasn't here, this meant that Torukisu would have to manage his own body's settings on his own.
But after a couple seconds of teasing Ricalna, Torukisu didn't expect the other to get up and just leave suddenly. "Hey, Ricalna!" Torukisu got up as well, deciding that lunch can be second priority in this case. Then, since he was taller by a few inches, it wasn't that hard for him to catch up with Ricalna. "Can't you take a simple joke?"
Since he left in such a hurry to keep up with Ricalna, Torukisu shifted his shoulder a bit, adjusting the sword that hung against his back. "A place to sleep, hm?" A spark of interest and curiosity rose in his voice, "Why don't we both find a place and share it together then?"
He expected this, but really didn't want to, when Torukisu ended up following after him. It was to the point Ricalna wanted to ask whoever-brought-them-here why did they also have to bring Torukisu to this world.
Once he heard Torukisu proposed the thought of them living together, Ricalna suddenly stopped walking, and then looked over at the taller android with an raised brow. "Give me a good reason as to why I should say 'yes' to living with you?"
When Ricalna suddenly stopped walking Torukisu nearly ran into the back of Ricalna's head - luckily he caught himself just in time though. His own, blue eyes stared into Ricalna's mix-matched ones; and the arised question only made the smirk on Torukisu's lips widen.
"Well, you tell me then," Confidence was in his voice, "When your cyborg body malfunctions, do you know how to fix it yourself?" He then raised a hand in the air, index finger extended out, and then he poked Ricalna's chest with it - right where the collar bone joined in the middle. "Your body is the same model as mine. So if I can fix myself, I can help you out with your's. Got that?"
He had then thought about running away, when his enemy said that they were going to meet up right here and right now. Though, after thinking back twice, both Ricalna and Torukisu were stuck here. Even if Ricalna ran away now, they were just bound to run into each other eventually.
