Moving right along with playing catch-up with this journal and my compulsion to document everything, let's go further downtown this time.

In September of 2009, made a visit to the new High Line park, walked along the Westside Highway and discovered that the Frying Pan was still in use begging to be explored.

oh! oh! and you should totally go biking or rollerblading no the west side highway... i used to do that all the time, before i left for israel. it really is a lot of fun!

trip to the High Line in a
previous post?

I love the idea of elevated
gardens. Makes me think a
little of Babylon.

That Frying Pan boat is awe-
some.

You know, despite a few trips
to NYC, it never really felt
like I was right near the
water until I could see the
water -- and I rarely was in
sight of it.
