Can you be both?
I was an ad in The Buffalo News today. Well, my blog was. I didn't think it was possible to advertise a blog in a newspaper, but it was. The ad called me "bright and optimistic."
Isn't optimism (and lol, by the way. Am I? Really?) really often little more than self-inflicted ignorance about circumstances as they are? Or at least conscious, focused inattention to select facts of reality? Censorship, as it were?
And bright? What am I, a lightbulb?
In other news, read me! Schumeea1 on Buffalo.com, for anyone who decides they don't get enough here. (Or have gotten sick of my self-indulgent carping and would rather read some real blogging for a change).
