so i finally watched sid and nancy (the biographical movie) i didn't really watch the first half cause i was baking...but i did watch the second half...i might have to just watch it again, i wish there were subtitles. and damn
everything's so relevant and so much the same =T neways...just some thoughts (i swear it's not angsty--but don't ask me why i decided to share)

Blessed are we who dream of the future
Scorned are those who can only think of tomorrow.

Where have all the scared crows gone? The
Figures turned inward stare deathly and
Bake in the sun.
“We need to Protect Our Land,” says
Farmer[s]
To their wives.
And so the story goes that
Crows were now black and those who care them, yellow.

In
A
Pie.

At the end of the day
At the end of the day
At the end of the
Day-breaks the sky.

“Let’s look at the clouds again.”

“But [blank] is on TV tonight”
Go to, there’s still another day yet.

Where have all the scarecrows gone? When there is
No
More corn to save; All have died within our
Distance.

In between the oceans we have
Us our crops-circled by our finger tips.
Healthy Anarchy. The weather changes quickly here.
Boom, boom, boom…we’ve fallen down the stairs.

The corn has gone
Un-tended, “we’ve gone in debt,” says
Farmer to wife.
Then, “we need more money,” says wife
To husband. It’s a vicious cycle in a vicious world.

There’s no place for those with no dreams.
But we sure need them to pick up
The trash on the streets-
Who beg on their knees and sleep on their hands
Where’s the dirt to keep us warm at night?
Turned to stone to fuel the…

No one’s looking at the crows-
Let’s crop some more circles.
