A few little lessons....
I really just have one thing to say that will pretty much sum up how I feel about everyone and everything:
Shut the fuck up.
People can die now.
I am so sick and tired of going out of my way and not even receiving a *shred* of decency, an utterance of acknowledgment, a whisper of recognition for just how much bullshit people get away with.
I want to know if this sort of behavior is something that people were raised with/around or merely something that is hardwired into their chemical makeup and personal psychology.
I love courtesy, I do. And today/lately both strangers and people I know very well have fallen far below par in that arena.
It is all so very, very simple: when someone says "hello" to you, you say "hello" back. Very easy thing to do.
When someone asks how you are doing, you say "fine" or whatever you are feeling and that should be followed by "thanks and yourself?"
If you see that someone is walking behind you into a store, hold the door open for them.
If someone holds the door open for you, fucking say thank you.
Do not talk loudly and obnoxiously in public, particularly restaurants. Americans are horrible about that.
If you are in a clothing store and see that the poor individual at the register is being bombarded by millions of people with returns/purchases, do not throw a fucking fit because you just *have* to try on the swimsuit that is about 5 sizes too small.
Do not just throw the clothes you have tried on onto the floor.
Do not loudly chew gum or pop your gum in public, it is revolting, only cows chew cud.
Do not allow your children or your fucking animals for that matter, to maul people and annoy them.
Do not make asshole statements in your live journal, ones that you know full and well will annoy certain people or that *certain people* may take a *certain* way and then claim you "didn't mean anything by it."
If someone replies in your live journal, you should be happy someone is even reading ANYTHING about your most likely boring personal life and was nice enough to even fucking reply, return the favor you cocksuckers. At least humor people by replying to their replies. (Of course, sometimes this doesn't always apply, especially when you speak to the person later on after the reply and discuss it or see the person, or whatever other circumstances evolve.)
If you supposedly love someone, or care deeply about being friends with them, take time away from your busy day to give them answers to important questions they ask. No one on earth is too busy or too fucked up for a simple yes or a motherfucking no.
So, people, are these things *REALLY* that difficult to grasp? There are not many people these days who are or were truly born in barns and even rarer are those who were raised by wolves. So, there is no need to act like it.
**I have had it today. I have really fucking had it. I want to see blood shed at this point. Christian and I have maybe one person who isn't on our shit list. We are both goddamn sick and tired of being nice and polite and understanding individuals and getting fuck all in return. As far as I am concerned, everyone can fuck off.
