I hate guys sometimes.
Up early for another day at work, so I thought I'd update my journal again.
I have an eye appointment today so I can get contacts. But now I am disappointed because I have an astigmatism, so the lenses I need might not work out with my eye... They're ordering a trial pair for me to try out and if everything goes okay, I'll get the real deal contacts... I'll also get new glasses as a "backup" which I think I will get thicker and smaller frames, emo-ish but not totally [because emo glasses are stupid].
We've been having a tent sale at work and it's been hot as hell with temperatures nearing 100 degrees. So standing outside all day in jeans and sneakers is not fun at all. But the coolest part is they give us walkie talkies because they don't want us shouting across the parkinglot if we need anything. And the walkies pick up other interference, so we were talking to guys who were on other walkies. The one guy I talked to sounded interesting and I asked him how old he was but then I got yelled at by my assistant manager for "flirting and not working." Yeah. Right.
As my coworker put it, the heat brings out the horndogs. Both she and I got hit on all day yesterday. It's amusing.
