Yeah so I haven't updated in awhile---I've just been to lazy to recap my life. I figured since I have no work I might as well do it now. My cousin's just dropped me off at school, and this is the earliest I've been up on a sunday in awhile. So I have time to kill
The big events of the past 2 weeks:
~Greek Night at Bryn Mawr. That was a lot fun- a poor man's GOYA dance if you will. I got to meet a lot of greek kids from the surrounding schools. I love greek dancing, and it felt so good to do it again. Even though the bad dancers drove me insane. I felt like going up to each person and being like "SMALL STEPS!!! KEEP UR ARMS STARIGHT!" Jersey Goyans are spoiled, cuz we're so used to dancing at Sights and Sounds and other dances. Then I ended up drinking my body weight in tequila- which was fun at the time, but sucked the next morning when I was dry heaving all day. I left half my belongings in Athena's room- and came home with all of her stuff. So yeah, I need to trade off with her to get my shit back. I pretty much drank myself retarted that night, which wasn't the smarted decisions of my life- but hey! at least I had a partner in crime---who ended up barfing pastitcho all over the rug. And then Athena and I went crazy dancing on tables together. I'm so happy Athena is close by, I feel like (next to Brandon) she's a little piece of home for me. She reminds me of GOYA.
~I lost my credit card which sucks. I'm driving myself crazy cuz I know I couldn't have misplaced it- I'm usually very responsible with important things- especially money. I always keep it in the same place. My mom called the credit card company and they say no one used it after me, which means it probably wasn't stolen. I'm just pissed at myself cuz I always keep it in the same place in my wallet- and it's so crazy that it's gone and I KNOW I didn't misplace it. Whatever, at least nothing was stolen.
~Yesturday was Joanna's Sweet 16- It was soooo good to see everyone. I never see Effie and Despina, and I love talking to them and hearing whats goin on in their lives. I got to see all my other cousins and talk to them, I haven't seen most of them since the summer and I love seeing them. I just love talking to everyone cuz everyone is so funny and great to talk to. I couldn't ask for a better family. I haven't seen my cousin Christine in like 2 years, and she's just crazy and I love her to death. And my cousin Alex, who's been giving me drinks since I was a toddler. When he was a teenager, he used to think it was funny to get me, Despina and Effie drunk when we were barely at puberty. I blame him for all my drinking. Hahahaha, oh how I love my couisns.
The best was racing my drunk cousin Jerry, down Rt.36 in the rain. Probably not the wisest thing to do considering he's a speed demon.
But aside from my cousins- how much do I loooooove my friends??????? I really really really really missed everyone and perhaps I dont realize how much I love some people until I see them after a long time apart. Like George, Frank ---OMG could I love them more??? I swear when I come home and see them, my id takes over and I have to attack them with hugs and kisses. And Lord knows, I'll take every little piece of GOYA life I can get. Like Christie, Tasos, Megan, Bucco---they're all pieces of the pie.
Ok I'm gonna get back to laying around and falling in and out of sleep as I watch TV---thats exactly what I need right now.
