I know it's way too early (Yeah. 8 months too early.) to be looking at apartments. But I finally found my dream apartment for when I move to Denver. Sam, my best friend who already lives/goes to Uni in Denver can either like it, or love it. There's no other option. I mean, there is. But that's the one bedroom apartment just for me option. And I'd much rather live with my gayboy.
The fact that they're GREEN apartments makes it a bajillion times cooler. Really - bamboo floors, wind powered electricity. Zoinks. But what sold it, aside from the ridiculous ease of affordability, was the decor/materials. Seriously. It's rad.

In other news: I got a big fat enevelope in the mail the other day with tickets for the Monolith Music Festival. Two weeks!
Our Hotel in Austin is booked for ACL - Adam even made sure the room was smoking. What a darling.
First week back at Uni isn't too bad at all. Best semester ever coming up? I do believe so. Another reason to be an Art Major: You never have to do anything. My sister, the Soc/Crim Major has a million papers to write. I? Have a few photographs to take, an exhibit to help set up/conceive in our art gallery and a test or two to take over Native American Art. And that's it.
PS: Go Barack. I sort of wished I was there at Mile High (Invesco Field as I suppose it's renamed) for his speech. Thennn I remember about how the Denver Police were flexing their unchecked power earlier in the week toward protesters AND my friends (who weren't even protesting) and I'm glad I watched the DNC on TV, away from the mace and batons.
PPS: Hillary's tangerine pantsuit was fabulous. Hillary - 2012!
