(no subject)
Wow, I haven't updated on here in a while. We ended up going to Thailand after all. It seems bizarre now that we even thought of not going, let alone agonizing over same. Haven't left yet, still in Suvarnabhumi airport - probably boarding in about 20 minutes.
I'm a bit wrecked (airports, man), but we have had a fantastic and marvellous time, and I'm sorry to leave (especially hard to leave Koh Tao), while simultaneously looking forward to getting back to our unassailable mountain refuge and our canine and feline children and our friends and our neighbours and my lab and my gym.
I have not missed the weather, but then this was always a temporary escape from winter! Michael wants to make a pact to go on a summer holiday every winter (probably not always this extravagant though).
Looking forward to catching up / commenting / etc.
