It feels so good to let my guard down.
I spent the whole weekend with Sam in CDA.
I can't express how happy he makes me, it was really hard to say goodbye. Even though I'll see him in a week and a half. He is the most incredible person and I'm extremely lucky.
I loved the wedding we went to, even though I lost respect for some people I've looked up to for the past 6 years. It's ridiculous to come to someone's wedding if you're just going to be unsupportive and criticize. But I loved how happy they looked. I loved that the weather held for exactly the 30 minutes that they were outside on the beach. That they were all wearing tuxes with flipflops. That they left in a plane off the dock.
The drive back was absolutely gorgeous, everytime I come back, I'm reminded how much this place is truly home. The skies were dark grey but the sunset cast a warm glow over everything. Everything looked so rich, so beautiful.
