Yui did not want to come to school today but she had to or else her brother might stop going and drop again. She was released from the hospital early yesterday when her concussion seemed to have passed and she had no other serious injuries. Yui spent the rest of the day at home answering to Shige and had mentioned Red Tail when he had asked her who did this. Shige wouldn't probably go actively searching for the group because his own work and priorities came first. Everyone was looking at her she felt as she tried to make it to class, one of her eyes was still pretty swollen and both were black not that her face in general was in better condition. The hideous bruise on her neck for Burubado's weapon was hidden as her neck was wrapped up as well as her hands which she tried to use to protect herself from the red head's blows. It was very obvious that Yui was beat up badly and it embarrassed her and made her angry. She planned on fighting Red Tail again when she was stronger.

Entering class Yui was in no mood to play class rep so she just sat down and ignored the stares.

"Yui-chan...what happened?" She asked quietly after reaching the other girl's desk, a worried expression on her face. Hearing quiet comments and speculation, she shifted her blue eyes toward the gossips and gave them a calm stare. Tiny and quiet she might be, but her stare had people shutting up and getting interested in other things. She didn't have to be tough; she was perfectly capable of making people feel guilty and ashamed with nothing more than a look.

Yui sighed and took a breath she didn't want to take her anger out on Hikaru. "I got in a gang fight and my opponents were a lot stronger then me. I got beat up." Yui clenched her hand in frustration.

Hikaru was surprised that Yui lost a fight and her blue eyes turned a stormy blue-grey with anger. It was the same expression that Yui had seen when the tiny dancer dragged another girl by her ear at the ballet. The anger passed quickly, but was replaced with a thoughtful expression. "Yui-chan, how good is your balance?" She asked after a moment. She was practically emanating calm serenity as she came to some decision.

Hikaru's nature was generally too gentle to make her a good fighter, but she'd taken enough self-defense classes to know that balance, speed and endurance were essential. And if there was one thing that Hikaru could help with, it was improving Yui's balance and endurance. Since Hikaru was very expressive after years of dancing, her thoughts were easy to read. She would do what she could to help her friend.

"My balance if fine." Yui sighed. "I have years of kenpo training it is just kind of hard to keep that balance when you take a bokken sword directly to the throat." Yui's hand gently touched her wraps.

For a moment, Hikaru simply looked at the other girl, her eyes looking at each injury starting with the wraps that Yui touched. It was obvious that she was angry, but she was not the type to let her anger get away from her. She was thinking about something, but it wasn't clear what until she spoke.

"Your biggest weakness is probably your straight-forwardness." she stated after a second. "You tend to take things head-on, which is probably predictable if your opponent has as much or more training than you." Hikaru was simply stating an observation, but it had a thoughtful edge to it.

"Yui-chan, you should come see my dance lessons after school." It might seem like a change of topic, but Hikaru knew that Yui was likely to get back at whoever beat her up. And she had an idea. "We're doing Romeo and Juliet in the upcoming ballet...and the fight scenes might just give you a few ideas."

Hikaru was not a fighter. She'd only had basic self-defense lessons. But she didn't need to be a fighter either. She was pretty skilled at dodging and dancing around those who tried to hurt her. And she could keep up dodging far longer than most people could keep swinging due to years of dance training.

"I don't see how it would help me any but I will go to watch you if you are in it." Yui relaxed her voice softening. When she heard Himura speak she looked to Hikaru. "Want to play class Rep today? I seem to have lost my motivation to care, not that it was really there to begin with."

Hikaru was right about Yui's straight forwardness it was a weakness of her family but she didn't want the girl involved with this street gang Red Tail their Yankee leader might be the type just to hurt Hikaru to make Yui fight her again.

A sweet smile lit up Hikaru's features, one that was full of sudden happiness. "I got the part of Juliet....The main female role." She stated. She'd nearly forgotten about it due to Yui's injuries, but there was no denying that she was happy about that accomplishment.

She nodded once at the question and got up to take role.
