Ani Di-Goddess-Franco
Last night I was talking to my sponsor about how much it would rule if when Ani DiFranco is in town for her Chicago show she attended my home meeting (since I've totally convinced myself she's in Al-anon). Today I had an email from Righteous Babe Records saying she's adding an extra Chicago date to her tour. She was already playing Saturday, February 26. Now she's also playing Sunday, February 27. That means she'll be around all day Sunday. My meeting is on Sunday not even a mile from where she'll be playing that night.
Like Oh My God! This is potentially so totally awesome!
Not that I'd be able to tell anyone if I really did meet her at my home meeting, since there's that whole anonymity thing. It's fun to fantasize about anyway...
