So far I've gone to the Y twice. First time I was scared of the workout room and it took me 3 tries to actually get myself in there. Plus I made this huge effort to get my old gym combination lock out and write the combo on my body twice (arm and belly) only to forget it at home. Doh! Luckily no one stole my shit. Second time I went was much smoother. I signed up for the Commit to be Fit program, but the first open appointment was for the 19th! Gross. So I have to wait 2 more weeks to meet with someone. I want to use the weight training machines, but I'd rather not fuck myself up by not knowing what I'm doing. For now I'll stick to the treadmill, bike, stair, and elliptical machines. Elliptical is hard. I just need to make an effort to get there 3 times a week to keep from beating myself up.

My weekend was mostly stupid. I worked out Friday night and followed it up with more fried food than one should eat in a week. Saturday I watched a movie, ate Indian food for dinner, read a bit, and fell asleep early. Sunday Scott and I went for breakfast, I had my meeting, and Jim came over to meet the kitties. The coolest part of the whole weekend was Sunday night -- Josh and I went to see Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind followed by coffee at a cafe.

Too Much Light memerable plays:
1. Extreme Invisible Baton: an extreme invisble baton performance set to stellar 80s music Included back-up dancers.
2. Making Love Out of Nohthing at All: a silent romance scene to the Air Supply song. Included a speghetti dinner where the wooing man offered the lucky lady the dish's only meatball by gently pushing it to her side of the plate with his nose.
3. For A Nation In Mourning: Never Lose Hope: a dance routine featuring the entire cast expressing sorrow over the break-up of Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt.
4. Pronunciate. Over articulate. And people will respect you. Guareanteed.: cast overannuciating "we are not going to take it", the AC/DC classic.
5. 30: cast member Jonathan talks about nearing age 30, his moles, and the tiny underpants his brother bought him (and he was wearing) while taking off all his clothes.
