Vidders: Make sure you get your vid submission forms in!
It's crunch time for all you last-minute vidders who are hoping to get your glorious new creations into the shows. You only have a few hours left so get a move on :)
Now, I know that people are in the process of uploading and I know that some of you may be having technical difficulties and need to upload again and all sorts of other things that make my Wednesday evening fun fun fun but there's one thing I want to remind you all of.
If you have finished your vid and are just in the stages of getting it to us, please fill in a submission form on the website.
Now, if I recall correctly, the submission form may well disappear at midnight. After that you wont be able to submit your vid so even i you think the upload is going to take until 00:01 don't wait until then to fill out the form. It's here. It's important. We need one for each vid. If you'd filled it out already you should have a confirmation email.
Tomorrow, sockkpuppett and I will be going through all the vids we've downloaded, making sure we have files for each vid we received a form for and making sure they are technically compliant. This is just a spot check to find the glaring problems like damaged uploads and the like. Many of you will have confirmations that we have the files already but we have not checked them all yet so keep hold of your masters for at least another week just in case.
For the vast majority of you, the files you have uploaded will be fine and you'll be able spend your remaining days before the con practising the Joxer Dance.
